New Wines and Wines Revisited!
New wines always are exciting and can be an adventure in organoleptic discovery. Revisited wines often add to the adventure by rediscovering and maybe even accentuating what pleased in the beginning! Here are several wines that have pleased beyond expectation during the last month.

Red:
Bird in the Hand; Two in the Bush Shiraz Adelaide Hills, Australia $18.95 94 points
Colour: Deep Red
Nose: Raspberry, Cranberry, Blackberry, Burnt Leaves, Wood Grain, Smoke
Palate: Full Bodied, smooth, forward tannin, long pepper finish
Food: Venison, roast beef, roast turkey, Osso Buco, Steak Tartare
Comments: While I am not fussy on the label name, this wine is an excellent Shiraz that is worth keeping in mind when it is released in May 2026! On the first tasting I also noted Dark Chocolate which I did not note on the second tasting. Some others have tasted chocolate several times. The wine is vibrant and has top class for a wine that is priced so reasonably. This is a wine that could be used as an everyday go to wine without breaking the wallet.
